*I just received a phone call from Bobby Brunette informing me that there will be 10-12 bouts BOTH days* On the 20th & 21st of March the Region II Golden Gloves Tournament will be held at the Brunette Boxing Gym.  There will be eight matches both days.  Doors open at 6:30pm and the first match will be at 7:30pm.  Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under.  Brunettes gym is located at the Old Eastview Rec. Here are a couple matches that are already made: Manny Contreras will face off against Richard Kern and Brad Heroff against Mike Monchamp.  Also on the card will be Oscar Soto, Super Heavy weight, Joe Struss, and many more!

On the second day of the tournament boxers, Gizzy Hobbs and Jamal Brown, will box in a final match for Region 1 Champion at 141lbs.  The match will determine who will advance to the 2010 Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Tournament.
