Congratulations to Javontae Starks from the Circle of Discipline. He boxed Greg Carter in the Finals of the USA National Tournament in Colorado. Fourty Seven seconds into the the third round, the referee stopped the contest making Starks the 2008 National USA Champion.

There will be an officials/coaches clinic this Saturday the 19th at 11:30am.  The clinic will  be held at the St. Cloud National Guard Armory.  The address is 1710 Veteran’s Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303.

The Annual USA Boxing board of directors meeting will be held in Houston, Texas.  Check back for more information.

12 Coaches and Officials attended the recent clinic in St. Cloud, MN on July 21st.  The clinicians were Vern Sweeney and Larry Goodman.

Attention all registered boxers, the Minnesota LBC 30 is looking for an Athlete Representative to replace Rachel Erickson. Voting will take place at the Upper Midwest Tournament in Hinckley.  The Athlete will be required to attend monthly meetings of the USA Boxing board.
